Entry 6: Aftermath

TED Talk           Soooooo... I hate public speaking. The TED Talk was a complete and utter failure, I mean, I did meet the requirements, but I still hated every second I was up on stage. I managed to get through the whole thing, surprisingly, but I talked extremely fast and I am pretty sure my TED Talk was like under 3 minutes. That is probably one of the worst parts about the TED Talk, because I timed myself a hundred times, and managed to get 5-6 minutes most of the time because I had good pauses and kept a decent speed, but then stress just snatched my extra 2-3 minutes that I needed. Afterwards I deliberately ran out of the school to the bus because I wanted to escape the comments from everyone and get it officially over with. Entry 5: I DID IT

The Day Has Finally Come           After a few days of a break, I have gotten back to throwing cards at apples, and to my surprise, I did it! From about 4 feet away, and with a hit ratio of 1:17.6 (5 hit out of 2 decks of 44), I managed to impale an apple with a card! My five difference impales can be seen below: Out of the Blue           The most interesting thing to me is the random jump in how well I was doing. I was not able to complete my 4th goal on my timeline, which was to impale cardboard. I mean, I just barely made my 2nd goal, which was to hit a 6-inch diameter target, or my 3rd of impaling Styrofoam. Yet somehow after taking a 3-5 day break, I was able to dominate this apple, I managed to impale it halfway through my fir st deck of 44, which surprised me a ton.
